Mark Rosner, MD, FACEP, FAAO is a board-certified Emergency Physician who has practiced for over 30 years. He is also the Director of Education and Research at Vision Specialists Institute and Chief Operating Officer of Vision Specialists of Michigan. He and his team have founded the new specialty of NeuroVisual Medicine, which focuses on the treatment of serious symptoms such as headache, dizziness, anxiety, neck pain and reading and learning difficulties that are due to (surprisingly) a subtle vision misalignment from Binocular Vision Dysfunction. This impacts at least 10% of the population, and a much greater percentage of those diagnosed with migraines, concussion/TBI, gait and balance instability, Meniere's disease, dyslexia,  anxiety and panic disorders. The proper use of aligning eyeglass lenses results in an 80% reduction of symptoms for the average patient.

He has co-authored peer reviewed articles on Binocular Vision Dysfunction, and has presented lectures and posters locally, nationally and internationally. He is co-director of the NeuroVisual Medicine Training Program, a five-day course designed to train optometrists from around the country and the world to become NeuroVisual Specialists.

Plymouth Township Supervisor Kurt Heise was born in Dearborn, Michigan and is 52 years of age.   A lifetime Wayne County resident, Supervisor Heise graduated from the Dearborn Public Schools in 1984 and the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 1988. He earned a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Laws in Labor Law from Wayne State University Law School in 1991 and 1993.  Heise was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1991, and is licensed to practice in the Federal District Court in Detroit and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Supervisor Heise has more than 25 years’ experience as a municipal, labor, and environmental attorney in Southeast Michigan. For nine years, he served as the Assistant City Attorney in Dearborn Heights and Woodhaven, and as the Mayor’s Deputy in Dearborn Heights.
From 2003 to 2009, Heise served as Director of the Wayne County Department of Environment.  He played a key role in the development of the State Watershed Alliance Act, was a member of the Blue Ribbon Commission for Lake St. Clair, and served as co-chair of the Michigan Groundwater Conservation Advisory Council.
Mr. Heise represented Wayne County on all matters impacting the Detroit Water & Sewer Department and the Rouge River Watershed before the Federal Court, EPA, and MDEQ.  He also chaired the Rouge River Remedial Action Plan Advisory Council in the late 1990’s, and served as an environmental consultant for the Wayne State University Urban Watershed Environmental Research Group, focusing on the Detroit River Area of Concern.  Heise and his team saved Wayne County taxpayers more than $200 million by challenging unrealistic MDEQ mandates, and saved tens of millions for Downriver ratepayers while earning ‘Gold Star’ ratings from the US EPA.
Also while at Wayne County, Heise traveled to China to sign several agreements with various Chinese governments to encourage trade and environmental technology opportunities for Michigan-based businesses.   In 2008, he was invited by the Environment Ministry of South Korea to speak on matters of environmental policy and technology.
Supervisor Heise has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Eastern Michigan University, and Wayne State University, teaching a graduate-level course entitled “Environmental Politics & Policy of Southeast Michigan.”
From 2011 to 2016, Supervisor Heise served as State Representative for the 20th House District, covering Plymouth, Northville, and eastern Canton.  As State Representative, Heise sponsored 39 laws, and served as Chairman of the House Criminal Justice Committee, Vice-Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and Co-Chair of the Michigan Human Trafficking Commission, which he created.
In 2016, Kurt Heise won a historic write-in campaign for Plymouth Township Supervisor, defeating a well-financed incumbent with 57 percent of the vote.  Supervisor Heise and his Board of Trustees are committed to transparent government, regional cooperation, and the rebuilding of the township’s long-neglected police and fire departments.
Supervisor Heise was appointed by Governor Rick Snyder to the Huron-Clinton Metropark Authority in 2017 for a four-year term.  The HCMA maintains 13 parks in Southeast Michigan and has an annual budget of $52 million.
Heise is married to Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Catherine Heise, and has two college-age daughters, Kate and Claire.
Supervisor Heise is a member of the Plymouth Rotary Club, Plymouth Chamber of Commerce, and the Blue Ribbon Commission for the Plymouth-Canton Schools.

Haley Stevens has dedicated her career to saving and growing good-paying jobs in Michigan. During the Great Recession, Haley served as chief of staff on the Auto Task Force inside of the U.S. Treasury Department, the team responsible for returning the auto industry to financial stability and saving 211,000 Michigan jobs.

Most recently she led a national workforce development program and created the country’s first online training program for digital manufacturing, which is already changing lives. She has led innovation programs across the country, helping small and medium sized manufacturers grow. Haley is a frequent speaker on job creation by way of harnessing new technology. She launched a STEM education program which has exposed over 200 middle and high school students to digital manufacturing concepts and processes with hands-on teaching.

Earlier in her career, Haley played a key role in setting up two federal offices critical in creating new Michigan jobs: The Office of Recovery for Automotive Communities and Workers and the White House Office of Manufacturing Policy. She also served as a policy advisor in the Economic Development Administration, where she helped create advanced manufacturing job opportunities located around southeastern Michigan.

Haley was born and raised in Oakland County where she graduated from Seaholm High School. She earned a master’s degree in social policy and philosophy and a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.
