Dr. Marie Palazzolo-Meyer was born and raised in Clinton Township, Michigan and in 2006 decided to pursue her calling to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.
At a young age she was introduced into Chiropractic, as her younger brother, Anthony, was sick and suffering from a rare disease. He began to lose his ability to talk, walk, and even crawl, after endless testing and no answers her parents decided to switch gears and try a Chiropractic approach. Their chiropractor not only adjusted Anthony but also did exercises to relieve his pain and restore motion in his joints. Although her parents knew Chiropractic would not save Anthony, Chiropractic care helped ease his pain and extend his life. Anthony sadly passed in 1993 from Niemann Pick Type C disease.
Dr. Marie knew as a child after she watched her brother suffer for years that she wanted to be in the health field to help improve other people’s lives. She started her college career at Central Michigan University as an Athletic Trainer, switched her major to a Bachelor in Biology and decided to move to Marietta, Georgia to attend Life University and become a Chiropractor. She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2010 with a focus in the correction of spinal curvature through the technique, Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP). Dr. Marie is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of soft tissue injuries often encountered in the spine, extremities and the rest of the body. She has extensive experience with the current state of the art spine rehabilitation technology and diagnostic equipment used in the treatment of spine related injuries. She also has experience with women who are planning to become pregnant, are pregnant and treating infants to assist with healthy planning and living for both mother and child. Dr. Marie comes from a history of highly competitive sports and takes pride in getting the high performance athlete to the weekend warrior back in the game safely and effectively. She looks forward to bringing the patients of Health Loft Chiropractic the best chiropractic care possible.
Dr. Marie is married to a wonderful man, Joel, and they have 2 beautiful boys. She also has 2 adorable dogs (Diesel and Bear) that are very active and love swimming. They have moved several times over the last few years due to Joel being active military but have recently settled back in Michigan to set some roots.
