Dutton Farm

My name is Jenny Brown and I am Co Founder and COO of Dutton Farm.  Dutton Farm is a non profit located in Rochester whose mission is to celebrate, educate and employ adults with developmental disabilities.  The topic of my presentation is Purchase with Purpose: Changing the world together through social enterprise.

I am a 33 years old and was born and raised in Rochester.  I attended Oakland Christian School, played basketball at Grace College for two years before transferring and earning my degree at Oakland University.  I am a wife and mom to 5 kids, my oldest being 9 and youngest is 3.  I have a beautiful sister who was given the gift of Down Syndrome, who is the inspiration behind my decision to co found Dutton Farm along with my mom Michele Smither.  Dutton Farm has impacted thousands of individuals with disabilities who find themselves struggling out of highschool.  It is a privilege and honor to work alongside some very talented and amazing individuals who just need a little encouragement and advocacy to reach their dreams.
