Thank you Linda Hatfield for planning 3rd Thursday at some very interesting places!
Thank you John Mucha for leading the Endowment Board! John gave a brief update on some of the many items the Rotary supports locally: Franklin Rights Settlement, The Furniture Bank, Bound Together Literacy, Boy Scouts, TCH, and the Seaholm and Groves Scholoar program. The Endowment Committee looks to fulfill the mission to support literacy and youth programs as well as putting aside monies in the Lasting Impact Fund that helps alleviates pressure on the club for future fundraising needs.
Thank you also to Rill Roy for all his hard work organizing dinners at the Hope Warming Center.
And the list continues..
Thank you Wendy for overseeing the foreign exchange students, Chris McLogan for work on the Salvation Army Bell ringers, Marcia Wilkinson and Doug Koschik for planning the Holiday party, Pat Grady for his work on the Bottomless Toy Chest, Pat and Charles for youth programs at the high school, and Norma Jean Evans for all of her hard work and dedication to the Owens Schools Literacy programs!  Norma Jean gave an update on the Guided Reading Program and the All Star Girls Club – both are very successful , well received and very appreciated by the staff and students at Owens.
