Detroit Sports Figures

Bill Dow, 65, is a 31-year resident of Birmingham and currently serves as a Senior Major Gift Officer at the Beaumont Health Foundation. For the past twenty years he has also served as a freelance writer for the Detroit Free Press sports department specializing in Detroit sports history features. He has also written articles for Hour Detroit, D Business, Detroit Home, the Oakland Press, Metro Parent, and Baseball Digest. He is a co-editor and a contributor of the book, Tiger Stadium: Essays and Memories of Detroit’s Historic Ballpark, 1912-2009. (McFarland, 2018)
