School Nutrition

Betti Wiggins is the executive director for the Detroit Public Schools Community District’s (DPSCD) Office of School Nutrition (OSN) and responsible for school-based meal operations in 141 schools for all USDA child nutrition programs and non-program sales, facilities management, employees and services; training programs for all levels of staff, and managing external business relationships with vendors, school principals and non-profit organizations. Ms. Wiggins holds a degree in nutrition from Wayne State University.  She has pursued graduate studies at the University of Minnesota and holds a certificate in municipal management from George Washington University.
