Bishop Airport in Flint

The airport designed with the traveler in mind...
At Bishop International Airport, our goal is to make your transition from ground travel to air travel easy, safe and pleasant. Our passenger terminal, which opened in 1993, was designed, engineered and built with visions of the 21st century, while always keeping the needs of the traveler as the focus. The terminal is bright, spacious and clean, with beautiful art work displayed throughout the building.

Easy-In, Easy-Out!
The ease of flying from Bishop International Airport starts with the pleasant drive. Bishop is on Bristol Road, only a half mile from the I-75/US23 and I-69 interchange in Flint. Bishop is 30 minutes or less from destinations such as the I-75 Detroit business corridor, North Oakland County, Frankenmuth, Birch Run and Pontiac. After you exit the expressway there are signs that clearly lead you to the entrance and into the terminal parking lot.

As you enter the terminal, you are greeted with large, open spaces full of natural light. While admiring the beauty of the lobby, you will notice the ticket counters close by. Check in by a friendly clerk is quick and simple and you are on your way to your gate. It couldn't be much easier.

Value!
When you add up all of the conveniences, benefits and savings Bishop International Airport offers in the form of low fares, affordable parking and less time on the highways, you'll discover why flying from Flint is to your financial and time-saving advantage.
