Acting President Chris opened the meeting at 12:15p with the Pledge of Allegiance.  After reciting the Four Way Test, Sarah Rappaport led the Club in singing America the Beautiful.  Dave Zimmer gave the invocation reminding us that we should live our lives as a blessing by sharing our bounties with others.  Richard Shapack told the Club the Jim Conley was doing better.

Marcia Winkinson and Joe Valentine sold luncheon tickets.  There was no raffle.  Norma Jean Evans greeted.    Pat Grady, (Santa)  acting as Sheriff, raised heaps of money for the Bottomless Toy Chest which he then presented to Head Elf, Nicky Guieswete.  The Toy Chest is distributed to seven pediatric hospitals.  The Club welcomed many guests and gave a special welcome to Frannie Greenebaum, who broke her pelvis a while back and has not been able to attend meetings.

Alica Green reported that Thursday literacy coaching for first and second graders has commenced at Owen School.  Mentoring to older girls will commence in January.
