Two Minute Update: Chuck Moss who actually spoke for 10 minutes as Marty Knollenberg, our scheduled speaker, was a no show. He gave us an update on the 2012 Regional Transit Authority, the four corridors, the explosion of (what he refers to as) Gilbertville and the potential future of mass transit.
Sheriff: Pat Grady, all money ($176.30) was donated to Wendee’s polio fund.
 
Upcoming Events & Announcements:
1. World Polio Day is October 24.  Wendee Haugh has organized teams to raise money outside Cosi and Kroger.  All are welcome but we do need a team to work Kroger from 2 to 4
2.  Hope Warming Center on 11/11
3. Owens Elementary starts again on 11/19 with a lunch party scheduled on 12/17
50/50 Raffle & Card Draw:  Daily pot of $10 was won by Norma Jean.   Pot lives.    
The last twenty minutes of the meeting were spent in committee.
