Monday Membership Meetings are the foundation of our Club. As people of service, we gather weekly in fellowship to share a meal and learn more about our local and regional communities as well as deepen our understanding of Rotary International projects and initiatives. Rotary-curious individuals are encouraged to join us for a meeting!
Each year upon taking office, the President of Rotary International selects a theme that reflects their priorities for the year and serves to inspire Rotarians. Along with the theme, Create Hope in the World, President Gordon McInally is prioritizing projects that support mental health.
Hope Shelters is an organization the Birmingham Rotary Club has directly support for serval years.
Club members prepare and serve food at the Hope adult shelter in Pontiac. We generally try to schedule this service project once per month on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening.
We have also provided Hope grant funds for essential and emergency projects such upgrades to the shelter's kitchen through our Club's Endowment Fund.
This is only one example of our service work. Please explore our website for additional examples of our service projects.
