Sustainable Development in Nicaragua

Emily Hewes works to support the Council of Protestant Churches of Nicaragua (CEPAD), a non-profit based in Nicaragua. CEPAD provides training to families and villages living in poverty to give them the tools they need to lift themselves out of poverty.

Emily lived in Nicaragua for 7 years and has been working with CEPAD USA since 2011.

She will be talking about CEPAD’s work in Nicaragua as well as water projects that the organization carries out in Nicaragua.
