Speaker: Marty Knollenberg - State Senate
Serves on licensing committee, Vice Chairman of Corrections, transportation, etc. On many committees with wide distribution. He is also a business owner locally.  His passions are education and early intervention of special needs education.
Budget: Done $54 Billion and we only control 9.8 Billion of that budget. Roads are our #1 issue and we should have a proposal in place by now.  Why do we not? Where will the money come from? User fees.  1998 is the last time gas tax went up.  If you use the roads you should pay for them. Registration for hybrids is also a possibility.
Education Paid leave time? Unions - Union rep leaves their job, usually a teacher, tax payer paying, and also a sub - including benefits.
Building concessions - Team player, sway dialog.
